Simplifying Baseball Rules

Baseball rules have many layers, when one infraction takes place it can morph throughout the entire playing action and in some cases become completely circumvented by another rule or simply disregarded by the outcome of the play. Then throw in the unknown of a player’s actions it becomes clear why the baseball rule book by nature is complex and difficult.

Now add the arduous chore of creating a rule book that entails every minor detailed aspect of the game, which also includes the layers, the unknowns and now you have an even more complex and difficult baseball rule book.

The above statements are the very reasons why I wrote Baseball Rules in Black and White.  To clarify the layers of baseball rules in a smooth continual order that is easy to read and comprehend. To not be difficult or complex, but rather to simplify difficult baseball rules.
